1. Introduction
Perde respects your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected when you use our application and website (almost none).
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Perde runs entirely on your Mac. The application does not connect to any server. There is no analytics, no telemetry, and no tracking. All your settings are stored locally on your device (UserDefaults) and are never transmitted externally.
3. Information Collected via Website
Our website currently does not use cookies and contains no third-party tracking scripts. Only standard server access logs may be kept. If privacy-respecting analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
4. Payment Information
When you purchase a license, your name, email address, and payment details are collected by our payment processor. Perde does not access or store this data. Payment processor records are retained for accounting and tax purposes per their own data retention policy.
5. Update Checks
Perde uses the Sparkle framework to check for updates. During this process, your app version and macOS version are transmitted. No personally identifiable information is sent.
6. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with data, please contact us.
7. International Compliance
Perde is compliant with GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and KVKK (Turkey) by design — we do not collect personal data.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be indicated by an updated effective date.
